Take charge of your workflow and make sure your documents are automatically sent to the signers of your choice on time.

Example: The HR department aims to automate the distribution of employee performance evaluation forms to both managers and employees every quarter. By implementing this automation, they can streamline the process, ensure consistency, and save time. This automated workflow will help ensure that evaluations are conducted efficiently and on schedule, facilitating better performance management within the organization.

To set your workflow to start automatically, hover over the Start section and click Add trigger.

Select On schedule and proceed to settings.

Decide how often the workflow should be started automatically, set the time and the date of the start:

Hourly - the workflow would be triggered every hour. This frequency is suitable for tasks that require frequent updates or actions, such as monitoring systems or collecting real-time data.

Daily - this option triggers the workflow once every day. It's useful for tasks that occur on a daily basis, such as generating reports, sending daily reminders, or performing routine maintenance tasks.

Weekly - this option initiates the workflow once a week. It's ideal for tasks that happen weekly, such as sending weekly updates or conducting routine checks.

Monthly - selecting the monthly option starts the workflow once a month. It's suitable for tasks that occur on a monthly basis, such as processing monthly invoices, distributing monthly reports, or conducting quarterly performance evaluations, as in the example provided by the HR department.

If you would like the workflow to stop at a specific time, simply indicate the date and time.

Indicate the workflow signers by setting them on each step. To do so, click on the step, go to the Signer section.

Once you’ve configured the Scheduled start option, the new documents will be sent to the signers per the settings you’ve adjusted.
