Customize the way your recipients complete a document by configuring the fields navigation. This helps you guide your recipients through each field in the order you prefer.

To do this, you can either access an already created workflow or create a new one.

Click the gear icon, go to the Signing experience section and select the Fields navigation option.

Choose the most appropriate navigation option for your workflow:

  • Required first: document recipients will be guided through the fields you marked as required in your document or form. And then, when the required information is provided, they’ll be able to proceed to the optional fields.

  • Required only: document recipients will only be guided through the fields you marked as required in your document or form.

  • All fields: document recipients will be guided through all document fields, starting from the first one.

Note: The Required only option is the default for all workflows.

You can change the navigation order at any time, even if documents have already been sent in your workflow.
