Make changes to a workflow, track its history, and review previous versions to maintain accuracy using workflow versioning.
A workflow version captures the workflow structure, including documents and bots, at a specific point in time. Creating a workflow automatically generates its first version. When you edit an existing version, a new draft is created.
Publishing a new version
When you're ready to finalize the changes made to a draft, you can publish it. Publishing a draft applies all changes to the workflow, makes it the active version, and deactivates the previously published version. You can also leave a comment during the publishing process to document the changes. These comments are visible in the Version History for future reference.
Restore and delete specific version
You can restore previous workflow versions by using the Version history.
1.Select the needed workflow, go to the three dots menu and select Version history.
Another way is to open the needed workflow and click on its version.
You will see the list of every workflow version. There will only be one current workflow version.
2. To restore the needed workflow version, select the Restore option.
Along with the restoration a new drafted version of the workflow will be created. These versions come along with a note (which can be modified), allowing you to differentiate them from others.
If you don't need the unpublished workflow version, you can delete it.
1.Open your workflow and locate the unpublished version.
2.Select the Delete option.
3.Confirm deletion in the pop-up window.
