In the Custom Buttons section, you can create custom buttons to NetSuite entities and configure them to run specific airSlate workflow. To proceed with the button creation:
1.Click the Create button.
2.Enter a label for your button (visible to your teammates) and a short description (visible to NetSuite admins). Click Next to action settings to proceed.
3.Specify the action that should be performed when the button is clicked.
Run the connected airSlate workflow: associate a specific airSlate workflow with the custom button. When clicked, the button will trigger the connected workflow, initiating the defined workflow automation and document processing. You can also choose to automatically open the first step of the workflow, providing a seamless experience for your users.
Invoke selected NetSuite workflow: run different airSlate workflows based on specific conditions within the NetSuite workflow. By selecting this option, you can configure the custom button to trigger a NetSuite workflow that, in turn, executes the associated airSlate workflow.
Open airSlate Workflows app: grant your users the ability to select a specific airSlate workflow to run from a NetSuite record. When the custom button is clicked, a dialog box is opened, allowing the user to choose from a list of available airSlate workflows associated with the record. This provides flexibility and user-driven control over the automation and workflow processes.
After, click Next to record types.
Tip:To create a custom button that will allow NetSuite user to select a file attached to the record, and automatically upload into into the Document Placeholder workflow. To enable the corresponding option, select the workflow contacting the placeholder in the Workflow section and toggle the Select record attachments option.
4.Review the list and select the relevant record types where you want the custom button to appear. This could include entities such as Customers, Sales Orders, Invoices, Purchase Orders, or other specific modules within NetSuite.
5.Сlick Finish.
Enable missing custom buttons on records
Some custom records require individual deployment of the button. It takes three simple steps to fix the issue.
1.Go to Customization > Scripting > Scripts.
2.Find the airSlate - Custom Buttons script and click Deployments.
3.Click New Deployment.
4.Fill in the following settings:
In APPLIES TO: select the custom record where you’d like to see the button
In STATUS select Released
In ROLES (Audience subtab) check All
Click Save when you’re done.
Run a workflow with a custom button
Check the NetSuite record layout or list where the button was added. For example, Employees. Select one of the employees, click View next to it, and click the custom button you’ve created.
You’ll be redirected to airSlate where you can start filling in the document.
