Allow signers to edit the documents they upload to a document placeholder by configuring permissions directly in the step settings. This enables features like fillable annotations and page management during the signing session.
When granted the proper permissions, signers are able to:
Fill and annotate the uploaded PDF using the Annotation pane (e.g., add/erase text, insert date, signature, etc.)
Manage document pages (e.g., delete, rotate, duplicate pages)
To enable the edit tool, perform the following steps:
Add a document placeholder to your workflow.
Navigate to the step settings.
Go to the Doments tab and select Fill and annotate in the premissions dropdown.
The document for signers with editing permissions will appear as follows with the Annotation panel available:
Signers should navigate to the Manage Pages or Reerange option to adjust the pages in the document they uploaded. The Rearrange pages modal window will open.
The signers are expected to select the option they need. Then, click Apply.
