The bots log helps ensure each bot has run successfully, identify any issues, and make sure your processes function properly without interrupting your business. You can access the bots log for an entire workflow or for a specific sent document in a workflow.
Note: The bots log is only available for teammates under the Owner, Supervisor, and Auditor. The Admin can view the bots log for the workflows they're administrating.
When you’re viewing your workflow, click More options and select Bots log.
If you want to check the bots log for a specific document, find it in the Documents tab or among the other documents in the workflow. Click the Three dots menu, and select Bots log.
The bots log page contains the list of all the bots that ran or failed to run in your workflow, as well as their status.
The bots log table demonstrates whether each bot has met the conditions you’ve set and whether they performed the action you’ve selected for them. If the bot has run successfully, you’ll see two green checkmarks.
If the bot didn’t run properly, hover over the error icon to find out the reason.
Review additional information about a bot’s event by clicking the Event log button. There, you’ll be able to see the log for trigger, condition, and action for each particular bot.
You can filter the bots to only review specific ones. To do so, click Filter.
In the window, specify the Bots you want to view. These can be:
Workflow version
Specific bots
Bots for specific document
Bots that acted in specific revisions
Bots working on specific triggers
Bots with a specific condition or action status
Bots that ran on particular dates
Bots that took some specific amount of time to run
Additionally, on the bots log page you can set up email notifications for the most critical bots in your workflow. If any of them fail, you’ll immediately receive an email. To check the bots that have email notifications turned on, click Notify when bots fail.
By default, all of the bots are selected for these notifications, but you can unselect some of them if needed.
