Install altaFlow for SharePoint

Install the SharePoint integration to automate data transfers between SharePoint lists and document workflows.

Build seamless business processes by automating data transfers between SharePoint lists and altaFlow documents.

To start using altaFlow for SharePoint, follow the guidelines below and install it on your computer either from AppSource or from a ZIP file.

From AppSource

1. To install altaFlow from AppSource, go to https://appsource.microsoft.com/ and type altaFlow in the search bar.

2. In the search results, click Get in now on the altaFlow for SharePoint application.

Next, sign in to your Microsoft account using the email you want to work with.

After that, confirm your details by clicking Get it now in the pop-up.

You’ll be redirected to SharePoint apps to the altaFlow for SharePoint page. Click Add to Apps site.

Next, select how you want to enable the altaFlow application for SharePoint and click Add. Selecting the first option will make the application available for site owners to add it themselves whenever they want. Selecting the second option will automatically add the application to all sites in your organization automatically.

How to add the altaFlow application to your site

If you have selected the ‘Only enable this app’ option during the activation, the application must be added to the site manually. To add the application to your site, go to the Site contents tab.

Click New > Apps.

Select the altaFlow for SharePoint application and click Add.

You’ll find the added application in the list of your site contents, where you can manage and delete it if you need to.

From a ZIP archive

If you have received the application in a ZIP archive from the supplier, follow the steps below to install it.

1. Log in to your SharePoint account under the Admin role and go to the SharePoint admin center. In the More features tab, find Apps and click Open.

Click Upload, then select a ZIP file from your computer. Once it’s uploaded, the activation sidebar will appear. Select how you want to enable the altaFlow application for SharePoint and click Enable app. Selecting the first option will make the application available for site owners to add it themselves whenever they want. Selecting the second option will automatically add the application to all sites in your organization automatically.

After that, the application will appear in the list of your organization’s applications.
