airSlate Admin tools is a part of the airSlate application that allows you to configure the following settings:
Access to a specific airSlate workspace
Shared documents with teammates from your SharePoint organization
Custom buttons in SharePoint records that run workflows in airSlate
How to access
Go to any list in your organization, click on the three dots menu, and select Admin tools. Admin tools will open in a pop-up.
Account
In the Account section, log in to your airSlate account to connect it to SharePoint. Your account must have Admin rights for the workspace you’re going to work in.
Once logged in, you will see the account settings page. Feel free to change the account settings anytime you need.
Workspace
Select or create an airSlate workspace to work in. Keep in mind that you must have the airSlate Admin rights for the workspace to create workflows or add teammates. You can also disconnect the current workspace and connect to another one.
Only the user who has connected the workspace can disconnect it. If you did not connect the current airSlate workspace to SharePoint, the Disconnect workspace button will be deactivated for you.
When you disconnect a workspace, all custom buttons created in this workspace will be hidden from the SharePoint records. They will show up again as soon as you reconnect the respective workspace.
If the user who has connected the workspace was deleted from airSlate, a new Admin has to re-install the application to make it possible to connect a new workspace.
Teammates
You can invite any member of your SharePoint team to your airSlate workspace. A full list of SharePoint teammates is available by default. Next to every teammate, there is an airSlate status: invited (teammates who have been invited to the workspace), active (teammates who have already joined your workspace), not invited, or blocked (teammates who have restricted access).
To invite a SharePoint user to airSlate, click on the three dots menu next to their airSlate status and select Invite to airSlate.
To invite several SharePoint users at a time, check the boxes next to each name and then click Invite teammates. The Invite users button only becomes available after you select at least one teammate for this operation.
The invited users will receive emails and will be prompted to sign up with airSlate.
To restrict access for a teammate, click on the active user’s menu and then click Block teammate. You can give them access back in the same way by clicking the Unblock teammate button, which will appear instead of the Block teammate button.
Custom buttons
In the Custom buttons section, set up custom buttons that will appear in SharePoint lists to quickly run specific airSlate workflows. Learn how to set up custom buttons in the dedicated article.
