airSlate Admin tools is a part of the airSlate application that allows you to configure the following settings:

  • Access to a specific airSlate workspace

  • Shared documents with teammates from your MS Dynamics 365 organization

  • Custom buttons in MS Dynamics 365 records that run workflows in airSlate

How to access

Go to a list of records in your organization and click airSlate in the command bar. Then, select Admin tools in the dropdown menu. Admin tools will open in a new tab.

Alternatively, open any of the records in the list and click on the three dots menu. In the dropdown, click airSlate to open the menu and select airSlate tools.

Account

In the Account section, log in to your airSlate account to connect it to MS Dynamics 365. Your account must have Admin rights for the workspace you’re going to work in.

Once logged in, you will see the account settings page. Feel free to change the account settings anytime you need.

Workspace

Select or create an airSlate workspace to work in. Keep in mind that you must have the airSlate Admin rights for the workspace to create workflows or add teammates. You can also disconnect the current workspace and connect another one.

Remember that only the user who has connected the workspace can disconnect it. If you did not connect the current airSlate workspace to MS Dynamics 365, the Disconnect workspace button will be deactivated for you.

When you disconnect a workspace, all custom buttons created in this workspace will be hidden from the MS Dynamics 365 records. They will show up again as soon as you reconnect the respective workspace.

If the user who has connected the workspace was deleted from airSlate, a new Admin has to re-install the application to make it possible to connect a new workspace.

Teammates

In the Teammates section, manage access for your MS Dynamics 365 organization users to your airSlate workspace. The full list of MS Dynamics 365 users is available by default. Each of them has the airSlate access status, where the green tick stands for Has access, and the red cross stands for Doesn’t have access.

To give access to a user, click on the three dots menu of this user and then click Unblock teammate. In the same way, restrict access for the activated users — for them, the menu option will be Block teammate.

To activate several MS Dynamics 365 users at a time, check the boxes next to each name and then click Unblock teammates. The Unblock teammates button becomes available in the top panel only after you select at least one teammate from the list.

Note: To be able to activate users, you must set up OAuth 2.0 for each of them. To do this, follow the guidelines below.

Go to the Settings tab and click Set up in the OAuth 2.0 section.

Enter the Client ID and Client Secret of the user in the respective fields and click Apply.

Now, the activation button is activated, and you’re free to unblock/block a user whenever you need.

Workflows

In the Workflows section, review key information about your workflows or create new ones, edit the access links to them, and quickly get workflow IDs. Open any workflow by clicking on its name. Use the search bar and filters to easily find the workflow you need.

Copy a workflow ID by clicking on it.

Custom buttons

In the Custom buttons section, set up custom buttons that will appear in MS Dynamics 365 entities to quickly run specific airSlate workflows. Learn how to set up custom buttons in the dedicated article.

Settings

In the Settings section, set up OAuth 2.0 for your MS Dynamics 356 users, so they can use the airSlate integration without registering accounts. Also, provide the credentials of the airSlate user involved in the MS Dynamics 365 workflows.
