Send documents of your workflow to recipients

Send altaFlow workflow documents to recipients — test the flow, add autostart, share a link, or publish and run the workflow manually.

Once your altaFlow workflow is built, you can test it, share it, or publish it and send documents to recipients right away. For guidance on building the workflow itself, see Design your workflow.

Before sending documents to recipients, you can:

Finish later

Save a draft and continue building your workflow later.

Test

Test the workflow end-to-end by assigning each step to yourself. Credits aren't consumed during a test run.

Note: if the draft workflow has autostart enabled, the test workflow will start automatically based on the autostart settings.

Autostart

Add autostart to launch the workflow automatically based on the conditions you set.

You can trigger autostart on a schedule or based on updates in another Template, CRM or ERP system, Google Sheets, Microsoft 365 Excel, and more. For full setup instructions, see the Autostarts collection.

Shareable link

Share a public link anywhere on the web. Anyone who opens the link starts a new process and can fill out or view the documents assigned to role 1.

Publish

Activate and save all changes made to the workflow.

If roles are already assigned to steps, invitations go out to recipients automatically. Otherwise, open the Status page to specify who should receive your documents.

To manage documents after they're sent, browse the articles in the Working with documents collection.
